The sound:
Clear that much of art is about the juxtaposition of different things. In this album, the hard, are male guitar distortion and soft female vocals so different that their pairing incredibly good complement to unleashing the maximum artistic effect. The distortion level and effects on the guitars are so perfect to the stereotypical modern rock standard. Not too vague and do not bite grunge, and metal, the guitars straddle the middle,then exploding with drop-D madness silenced to make way for Lee's verses make miserable and vulnerable. Then the sound rushes in again, with voice-Lee: The rapid rise of all in an overwhelming climax. The tinkling piano is present throughout the balance of gravity and the standard Gothic elements (male grunt, choirs, weepy violins) interspersed as needed. Occasionally, as in the title of "Whisper" and "Haunted", a cluster leads to a very tasteful, nonmasturbatory solo.
ThisType of music has never been so tasty on a large scale, and again the success goes to Lee's voice, which is the focal point.
